Sustainable Travel

When I thought about all the things I love and I have expertise on, travel came straight to my mind. Having been working in the travel industry for the last 8 years, I am a travel enthusiast and geek.

People nowadays look for different experiences, experiences that connect them more with nature, with the roots, and with themselves. Big cities such as New York, Tokyo, London, will always be touristy, we know that, however people need’s and trends change overtime. We got used to travel, it became normal for us to get on a plane and discover the world. We could be in 3 countries in one day, and that was ok.

The pandemic only accelerated a trend that was already happening. Going back to unexplored, unexploited places, where local and sustainable farming, energy, is produced. Places with less CO2, with more air to breathe, with more authentic roots for people to get to know other ways of living and become part of the scene rather than just a spectator.

The growth of humanity has wiped out 60% of the world’s wildlife populations in the past four decades according to the World Wildlife Fund, while a 2019 United Nation report . Isn’t this worrying? We are talking about disasters that are already happening and will keep happening if we do not change our relationship with nature now. And it is easier than you think!

I want us to build a community where we live and travel sustainably – that means focusing on meeting the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their needs.

And this brings harmonically all my other topics together becoming one : by eating and drinking sustainably, organically, by practising healing techniques for the body and spirit like yoga and Pilates, and by travelling consciously, we will be able to enjoy ourselves, to discover new flavours, essences, people, techniques, places, history. And we will also more conscious of the present and future, we will open our minds and hearts, by not compromising the wilderness, and maybe even by contributing towards the future of it.

Some of the things I have planned for us:

  • Sustainable shop
  • Agritourism stays around the world
  • Sustainable blog
  • Trips to explore nature sustainably
  • Sustainability forum

And more!
